El base menorquín recibió el balón a falta de 2,9 segundos con su equipo un punto abajo (70-69). Desde el perímetro, penetró hacia la canasta y, pese a la intensa defensa rival, anotó contra tablero, dando la victoria al Real Madrid de Sergio Scariolo por 71-70.
La canasta de Llull volvió a recorrer España, recordando su habitual capacidad de decidir partidos en los instantes finales, ahora con 38 años y con la misma determinación que siempre lo ha caracterizado.
